Caravan of Love: by Dark Immersion

Dark Immersion presents an all-new original jukebox musical – written by Shaun French and co-directed by Dave Ross and Vicki Brownlee “Caravan of Love” is about to set off on a decent leg of the eastern coastline. Premiering in Cottingham (Civic Hall – Saturday May 3rd & Sunday May 4th), then onto Goole (Junction Theatre – 8th May) and finally ending its tour at the Bridlington (Spotlight Theatre 16th – 18th May).

Four couples embark upon their journey to a campsite in Scarborough with hopes of seeking cheap thrills and second chances. Can this convoy of misfits find penance in the most unlikely of places? Wonderfully relatable, developed characters fleshed out by a reliable cast of locals – all of it feels deeply inspired by working class Yorkshire colloquialism.

Like its name-sake, this story is an indelicate ode to love. Full of nostalgia and hope, the script champions an ideal of living life to the very fullest – injected with humour and a bona fide epic live soundtrack. Musical direction by Victor Swift and Carla Navarro-Walker, with choreography by Amy French, is perfectly arranged and adapted to accommodate a diverse ability cast.

Tickets are on sale now at Barker’s (Cottingham) and also available online:
